UTTAR PRADESH: Preparations for the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) Scheme Examination 2027-28 have commenced in full swing. To ensure that no meritorious student is deprived of this highly beneficial UP scholarship, Basic Education Officer Rahul Panwar has issued strict directives to all Block Education Officers (BEOs) to begin the groundwork for preparing essential documents for eligible candidates.
Strict Directives for Timely Document Preparation Authorities have made it clear that the required paperwork for eligible students currently studying in Class 8 at upper primary council schools must be completed in a time-bound manner. These critical documents include the student's Income Certificate, Caste Certificate, and Aadhaar Card.
In addition to administrative officials, school headmasters have been entrusted with a key responsibility. They are tasked with actively educating students and their parents about the eligibility criteria for this UP scholarship, the application process, and comprehensive details regarding the upcoming examination.
A Lifeline for Economically Weaker Students Exam Nodal Officer Rajesh Khanna highlighted the core objective of the NMMS scheme. He stated that the program is primarily designed to identify and encourage meritorious students from economically weaker sections, providing them with the necessary financial backing to pursue and complete their secondary education without hurdles.
