The son of the current Gram Pradhan filed an official petition claiming that 70 verified citizens had their names arbitrarily removed from the final voter registry list.According to the complainant, these names were completely visible and active during the initial draft or preliminary list phase, where citizens verify their local credentials. However, during the final printing and roll publication, these names disappeared without any prior official notification, warning, or valid explanation. The sudden erasure has raised concerns among local residents who fear losing their fundamental democratic voting rights.

DPRO Intervenes, Initiates Detailed Audit :- Responding to the escalating rural discontent, Prayagraj District Panchayati Raj Officer (DPRO) Ravi Shankar Dwivedi took immediate administrative notice of the matter.
